I noticed that girls were plaiting their hair in very complicated ways, which was beautiful and I started a project on this. It seemed a very London thing. I met this girl at a bus stop and I asked if I could photograph her hair to draw it and she wasn't very interested in why I wanted to do it. She was just very accepting. So I did and then enjoyed very much drawing it. I enjoyed her attitude too.
